Attempt to store duplicate value (visible to active transactions) in unique index


This happens when you try to insert a duplicate value into a primary key or unique column or when you try to create a primary key or unique constraint on column which has duplicates. Here's an example query to find duplicate values in table T1 for field ID:

select ID, count(*)
from T1
group by ID
having count(*) > 1;
